Almost Unwearoutable designs and makes bespoke, wool knitwear, including shooting socks, jumpers, waistcoats, sweaters, ponchos & slipovers, for men, women and children, as well as handmade socks for every day, welly socks, boot socks, ski socks and even thigh high festival socks, hand knitted scarves, hats, gloves & mittens, and much more. Stylish, hard-wearing and created just for you, all our socks are made in individual sizes and have reinforced toes and heels for added strength.  We have a huge range of over 50 colours and patterns, and can personalise anything, from hats to socks in any combination of colours, making your choice almost unique. However thin or well developed your legs, how large or small your feet, we can make  to your specifications. We even have a one legged customer who buys single socks from us! 

We specialise in exclusive, custom-made accessories, and can match your estate tweed, racing, school/university, or regimental colours to name a few. Hats and shooting socks can carry your personalised message as a one-off gift. We also make kilt hose to go with virtually every tartan. We can put three colours on the top of the stocking with the 'Tweed' pattern, or hand knit you a full argyle pair. If you are not sure what colours to use, you can send us a swatch of your tartan, or even just give us the name, and we will sort it out for you.

We care passionately about our garments, and your order will be designed, handmade and checked by us to make sure you receive the best quality possible. Everything is hand made in Northumberland and County Durham, in the same way as it was when we started over 80 years ago, by a team of amazing knitters who work from their homes.
